Manager, joined City from Petersfield United just two weeks before the
season started due to the unexpected resignation of Paul Masters.
A career soldier, Ian has competed in all levels of Army Football and also played civilian
football for Fleet Town, Brockenhurst, Chichester City, Wick, East Preston, Midhurst and
Easebourne. Started his career at Plymouth Argyle.
Jason Hampson (Amo)
Assistant Manager – Previously with Havant Town and Co-op Sports
Jason aka Amo, loves his football and has taken this first managerial appointment with Ian,
in a bid to achieve success at Petersfield Town. Amo has an infectious enthusiasm which
has spread throughout the club.
Jamie Cotton (Jam)
Goalkeeping Coach – His previous clubs have included Lymington, Hythe
& Dibden and AFC Totton
Jamie joined Petersfield Town following a successful stint with AFC Totton and followed
Ian to City at the beginning of this season.
Jamie is a FA level 1 and 2 Goalkeeping Coach with a fantastic reputation throughout
Former Southampton and Brighton & Hove Albion academy midfielder. He has also played for Gosport Borough and Blackfield and Langley.
Signed from Petersfield Town at the start of the season.
Previously with Dorchester, Eastleigh, Gosport (where he lead them to the FA Trophy Final at Wembley in March 2014) and Basingstoke. Browner adds a very competitive edge to our team.
19-year-old former Petersfield centre-back , who recently parted company with Premier League outfit Stoke City to continue his education at Bath University.
A serving soldier just been posted to Tidworth after a spell up
north. A Combined services player.
Made his way from the City Youth to Reserves and is now on the fringe of the First Team. Previously played for Hythe and Dibden and Southampton Academy. A student.
The former Totton & Eling and Gosport Borough marksman was also with Carisle United and Hull City. He was A.F.C.Totton’s top scorer the season before last but was released from contract by the Stags after spending three months travelling in Australia.
Previously with Chichester City, Wick FC and Pagham. He joined
Petersfield Town in the early part of the 2013/14 season after playing in Sussex. A more
committed defender you will not find. ‘Fordy’ has great energy and is a good character
within the dressing room.
Stuart joins us from Bognor.

Has worked his way into the first team squad after some impressive performances from the bench.
Twenty one year old Andy started his career at Reading,
before joining Basingstoke Town when he was released by the Royals in 2013. He
appeared for Basingstoke more than 50 times over two seasons, before moving on to
Maidenhead United. Andy signed for Chippenham in the close season, but he has become
frustrated by the lack of first team opportunities. He joins City with a determination to
demonstrate his ability on a regular basis.
Left sided defender, back in the City team after a year out for injury. Another teacher, he has played for Oakwood, Chelsea and Southampton.

times in the club’s Sydenhams Wessex Premier-winning season of 2015/16 and scored 13
Born-and-bred in Amesbury, the 6ft 2in targetman played for the old Salisbury City,
Bemerton Heath and Eastleigh in his early years. Then, after a successful return to
Salisbury City, he moved on to Crawley, Kidderminster, Newport County, Forest Green
Rovers, Gosport Borough, Hayes & Yeading and Dorchester Town.

Lewis was No 2 at Eastleigh for much of last term, before ending the season on loan to our League rivals Larkhall. After leaving Eastleigh, Lewis has been coveted by several Clubs – but has chosen to join City, much to our delight.
Young midfielder on loan from Havant and Waterlooville.
Played for Blackfield and Langley, Eastleigh, Sutton United and Bashley. Represented Hampshire in the F.A. County final at Portman Road, Ipswich. Works as a Community Development Officer.
On the bench for City’s 2016 Hampshire Senior Cup final and now a member of the first team squad.
A good flanker, joined City from Petersfield United and has played for Gosport Borough and Salisbury City. A career soldier and an experienced Army player.
Recently signed from Petersfield Town. He made his reputation playing for Wick in in the Southern Combination League.
Kieran joins us from Amesbury after spells at Gosport Borough and Moneyfields.
Had a brilliant season for City and part of the promotion side in 2014/2015. Played for AFC Totton and Lymington Town. A student fabricator/welder.
Sam rejoined Winchester City from Salisbury. Sam has experience at Eastleigh and was a Portsmouth Academy player a Fulham trialist. He has also interested the Northern Ireland Under 19 squad. He won the Wessex League Golden Boot last season with 40 goals as well as the Wessex Championship with Salisbury.
